Judy Wagner has over 50 years of experience teaching mathematics. She began her career teaching 7th and 8th grade mathematics for 9 years and she has served as a Mathematics Department Head at Clear Lake ISD. She was a professor of mathematics at Blinn College for 42 years from 1976 to 2018. She retired in June of 2018. She was the Blinn College Teaching Excellence Award winner in 2017. She has been a Presenter at Several Conferences at Blinn College on both the Brenham and Bryan Campuses. She received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Texas and a HS teaching certificate in 1962. She earned a Master’s of Education from Sam Houston State University in Math and Computer Science in 1973. She has been a swimmer, swim coach and swimming official for many years. She is a professional artist. She works as an educational consultant and math tutor at the College Learning Center in College Station which serves both Blinn College and A&M students. Her motto when she taught Mathematics was Math is a Participation Sport; her purpose in life has always been to support others.
